I guess I thought that by paying THOUSANDS of dollars, I’d be overly excited with the final result. Not so. It’s just a roof. I stepped back and looked at the house for the first time and thought, “Oh. That’s it.”

On the other hand, it’s a ROOF that I own! The insurance company will insure it! I won’t get rained on! I don’t have to replace it for 25 years! Yeay!

It does look a lot better. (And then I look at these pictures and think it looks just the same! Can you even tell the difference?!)
