For Easter, I spent some time with my mom and dad. The light was perfect in the music room and I got some adorable pictures of Caroline. These are some of my favorites!

My kids are so happy in the mornings, and before church they are just adorable!
By the time I wanted a picture with Caroline, though, she was ready to be done. “Stop holding me! I want to crawl around!”
Note to self: I must try to get a picture of me with my kids more often.

Happy birthday, my dear five-year-old boy!
For Paul’s birthday, we gave him the option of doing any fun family event together. He chose to take the train to Des Plaines — where there is a train restaurant. Here are some fun pictures of our family excursion. Excuse the bad quality, as I didn’t take my good camera with me and these were just taken with my phone.

At the end of July, I got to meet a friend, Meredith, and her family, who I haven’t seen for many years! Paul and her her son Andre had a fun time playing together. It was so much fun to catch up on life!
Paul and his cousins got a chance to revisit Pirate’s Cove!
Paul stayed a little long after his cousins left to have a water balloon fight with some other kids. (The teenagers in charge didn’t quite know how to coordinate 30 4-6 year old kids but the kids still had fun!)
Cousin Samuel was not feeling well. He is taking a nap inside. But these climbers wanted to put on a show! And they are holding puppets as they climb!
