This baby is a genius. He thinks he can crawl. If he’s on his belly on Daddy’s chest, he crawls up. I tried to capture his crawling on video. It may not look like much to you, but I’m impressed….
(P.S. Yes, I know the crawl reflex is a newborn reflex that goes away after a few weeks or months.)

Thank you for the video. I’m hungry for more real life action from this sweet baby. I loved his little sqeaks and am so glad to see how active he is. He sure knows what to do when that hand gets near his mouth. Does he suck his thumb or fingers? OH, and I don’t think Paul looks like either of you. He is his own unique self. I think that is natural. When you look at all the siblings in both families, there was no cookie cutter. Keep the pictures coming, they help alot! He’s growing very well. I loved his little grunts as he worked on trying to move forward. Maybe the reflex doesn’t really go away. Maybe he just figures out that, with that heavy head down, he can’t get anywhere, so there’s no point in trying for a while.
I’m with Peggy; it is very gratifying to see and hear him in action. I don’t suppose you’ll post any pictures of him nursing or peeing in your eye? Mom
