I went to the hospital on Tuesday. The midwife measured me. I am 29 cm. At 28 1/2 weeks, that is just right.
So I don’t want anyone to tell me that I’m too small! She told me that I can just ignore anyone who tells me that.
So there.
Of course, it didn’t stop the Relief Society sisters at Enrichment night. Someone said they were only carrying on because they were jealous.
Why would anyone be jealous? I want to look like I’m 6 1/2 months pregnant! I don’t want to look “small.” Not at this point.
Give me another two months.
So glad you’re just right! But can you send us a current picture so we can add our comments about how small, big, high, round, uncomfortable, or cute you look?
Certainly your baby will be just right too. Here in Illinois (motto: if you don’t like the weather, wait a minute) Gramma and I have been working on a quilt for him. The current goal is to get all the pieces cut out so we can reclaim the kitchen table before Uncle Grant, Jenny and Chris and family, and Allison and Aaron and family descend tomorrow. Keeping the mailing distance in mind, we aim for early completion. Mom
Hi Becky! I found your site through Jenny’s and just wanted to let you know that I was also someone who “carried small” which is ridiculous. As I’m sure you can attest, we have just as much baby in our gut as everyone else, it’s just hanging out differently than other people’s. Don’t you worry a second about what anyone else says. You’ll be fine!
